Hacienda Las Mesas is a large estate that once housed the hunting preserve of the Counts López de Carrizosa, today transformed into a boutique accommodation halfway between hotel and rural house. Located on the outskirts of Jerez de la Frontera, it offers a quiet and well-cared-for stay, with services and spaces designed for those looking for more than conventional accommodation.
The images were taken in the context of the complete redesign of the establishment's website and for use on the main booking portals. The commission stemmed from a very specific need: showing the estate as a rural house with services typical of a boutique hotel. The photographic project was conceived in such a way that the distribution and use of each space are understood at first glance, prioritizing descriptive framings and avoiding resources that alter the real perception of the accommodation. This approach responds to how images are consumed in the hospitality sector: they help the guest to locate, compare, and decide with precise visual information.
It was decided to completely avoid the use of excessively angular optics, using framings that respect real proportions and help to understand dimensions, routes and relationships between spaces. Throughout the different sessions carried out over time, criteria such as the type of framing, color treatment, and precise control of contrast and brightness were maintained, which has allowed to build a coherent visual set despite being productions carried out at different times.
Although the natural environment is part of the character of the place, the photography focuses mainly on the estate and the spaces available to guests, highlighting the architecture, the interiors and the stay experience. This work has been used both in the accommodation's own communication and in international editorial publications, including Flaunt Magazine, reinforcing the visibility and positioning of the establishment.
